    How do I add headings for each column

    I have set up a spreadsheet, but find I need headings for each column (not the A B C ...) I know the alphabet named columns must be visible to create formulas, but how do I insert a heading for each column - that will stay in view even when I scroll down the sheet. Also, a heading that is NOT included when I need to use that column in calculations.
