VLOOKUP a range

Hi there, I have 10 groups of in a range.EG

How can I use the VL formula using a value in cell A1 to find out which group it belongs to. Also group B and D are special and I would like for the VL formula to return them in bold.

VLOOKUP(A1,Sheet2!,A:B,2)
Something like this?
