    Summing

I have two rows of visually identical numbers that are summing differently. I have tried using different sum functions, and my formulas are correct. When I subtract by one row from the other by column, they all give 0.

Some of the cells must be formatted such that they are not included in the sum. I have tried changing the formatting all cells as numbers or general, but this does not fix the problem.

Any ideas? I appreciate your help.

Yes, I tried this and it did not change the incorrect sum.
    Any other ideas? Thanks.

Attach a copy of the troublesome sheet as a zip file so it can be examined?

some of the second row are text and not numbers, they are preceded by a ' if you look at the individual cells

Do you want them all to be numbers? or just know why there is a difference

if you want them all to be numbers, type a 1 in a cell then copy it, select the range of cells you wish to sum and select edit paste special, then multiply

    Regards
