Pasting a blank cell w/o formula to a cell with a formula

Please excuse the rookie question but how can I paste a cell's contents without a formula into a blank cell that has a formula. Basically, I want to paste a worksheet column into a different worksheet column which has a formula. Whenever I do the Paste Special, values only, my formulas are deleted in the desired worksheet. Any help is appreciated.

Your question is hard to follow. Are you trying to paste the formulas? or only the values?

I want to paste only the value. I am pasting a whole column in which all of the cells do not have formulas. However, when I paste the values from those cells into a different worksheet with formulas, the formulas are erased. Is there anyway to only paste the value and not the formula?
