    how do you lock format?

    hi 2 q's please,
    1. How can i lock format on a page? I have rows comprised of merged cells and every time I add something to a row, some row near a page break below gets cut in half. I need to set it so that just the number of rows that i originlly set to a page stay that way, no matter what I add datawise later on.

    2. I have a spreadsheet with 10 columns across. The column headings (in row 1 for all columns) needs to print on every page, but I don't want to insert it manually into every page as another row. how can i set it to print at the top of every page automatically? The obvious choice would be to create a header, but i dont know how to c r eate a head with cells in it. Basically i'm trying to print the titles of each column on every page without having to insert a new row on each page manually.

    thanks!

    Hi There,

As for question 1, can't help.

But question 2, see screenshot attached, and click File, Page setup, sheet, and then use "Rows to repeat at top".
