    Graphing Problem - X Values

    Hi,

I am making an XY Scatter Plot. X data appears to be and acts in every way as a real number (it's really date/time, but I'm using the number), but when the graph is built the X data shows up as the count - not the data itself, i.e. the first point is plotted as 1, the second as 2.

The x-values field correctly identifies the data range.

    Any assistance greatly appreciated.

    Dan

Does every cell in x_values contain a value? The usual reason the Excel will substitute {1,2,3...} for x_values is if one or more of the cells in x_values contains text or other non-numeric data (Dates should be considered numeric). Make sure they are true dates and not text that looks like a date.
