Excel for Apple Mac Keyboard Shortcut

I remember using a shortcut on windows which allowed you to type in the current cell, but I cant find it on the mac. What I mean is how do I get the typing cursor in the formula box, allowing me to type in the current cell, without using the mouse cursor to click on the formula bar.

    Thanks

    It's not alt return,

but having just tried alt return, I've found that it allows you to enter a carriage return into a text string, which could be useful!

It's amazing what you can find when your looking for something else
