    bizzare bug when saving

Was hoping someone out there can help with a bizarre nuisance bug I've encountered:

In this one particular workbook, whenever I do a SAVE, the "Edit...Go To...Special" function seems to invoke itself More specifically, all cells that contain formulas on every worksheet in the workbook become automatically selected and I have to go through each worksheet and unselect them. Next time I do a save it just happens again. It's driving me nuts! Has anyone else encountered this and/or know how to fix?

    Hi,

have you checked for any spurious code triggers?

Rightmouse the worksheet tab and select 'View Code', check the Sheet and thisWorkbook,

Let me know how you go.

I may be paranoid, but am I paranoid enough?

Does this happen with all the routes to saving?

i.e. when you use file > save and when you use the toolbar save icon and when you use Ctrl+S.

What I am suggesting is that, somehow, your toolbar icon association has been altered.

Have you been loading workbooks from "dodgy" sources (which might contain malicious macros).
Or has someone else had access to your computer?

    Mark.
