    bringing items over from excel spreadsheet

    I would like to take specific entries from an excel spreadsheet using a script and have them placed automatically in a specific location in a word document. (Line 1, Column 3 for example) The reason for this is I have to enter fields from a spreadsheet into this word document, and the informaton always appears in the same column and row so I figure I could save myself some time by having this info automatically purged into a specific word document.

    A relatively easy way of doing this is to record a macro in Word typing dummy values into the places that you want. Then copy this into Excel and create an Excel macro which creates a Word object and use the Word macro code (prefixed with Word object) amended to substitute the values from your spreadsheet.
