    cant see drawing toolbar

    Hi

I've recently got a new computer and this problem is driving me nuts.
When I click view!toolbars!drawing, nothing happens. No drawing toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen where it used to be. There's a small "drawing toolbar" icon on the main toolbar, but whether this is depressed or not makes no difference either.

I understand this may be changed in the 2007 version, but I’m using Excel 2000

It’s probably a really simple solution, but neither the help screens nor a quick google gave any solution.
    Nicky

Try this, on the end of the Standard Toolbar is a drop down arrow (next to the ?) . Click, Add or Remove option > Standard > Rest Toolbar.

    Does that help?

If you go to View > Toolbars has the Drawing Toolbar got a tick next to it?

yes - I've toggled this on an off using view!toolbars, by clicking the icon that's part of the standard toolbar, and with the 'reset toolbar' command on the down arrow at the end of the standard toobar as you suggested. None of this seems to work, even with the drawing toolbar ticked.

OK, let try something else. Go to Tools > Customise > Options, Rest menu and toolbar usage data.

Also have you got the active window on max?
