Question filling vertically from horizontal tables

I am not sure if this is even possible, but I have wished many times that I could do this. (I hope there isn't a previous topic on this, I couldn't find one anywhere). Heres the scenario (see .jpg attached):
i have a table that is situated horizontally ("CHART H"), there are multiple calculations i would like to do using some raw data (listed vertically) (CHART V). When i got to fill the calculation left to right on CHART H, the values in CHART V also move left to right (unless locked with $$). Is there simple way to make the values reference downward as i fill left to right...etc.
the scenario also applies the to transferring from horizontal to vertical....

this isnt too much of a hassle for 6 cells of simple differences, but this could be a nightmare for large sets of data or complex formulas.

i hope this makes sense, because i am pretty sure anyone who uses excel anywhat often has ran into this.

hopefully there is some function or maybe a marco i could use or else i may have to learn pivot tables (?)
