Auto Number Columns in predefined steps ?

Hi,
I have a spreadsheet that needs to have 3200 (approx.) columns that are numbered 1 , 1.2 , 2 , 2.2 , 3 , 3.2 etc....
When I create a sample 1 , 1.2 then highlight both a drag the box to my right instead of creating the correct number incriments listed above Excel creates 1 , 1.2 , 1.4 , 1.6 , 1.8 etc... When I create a series of numbers 1 , 1.2 , 2, 2.2 , 3 , 3.2 it creates 1 1.2 2 2.2 3 3.2 3.76 4.234285714 4.708571429 5.182857143 5.657142857 6.131428571 6.605714286 7.08

What can I do to set up a set that will step as I drag 1 , 1.2 , 2 , 2.2 , 3 etc...

One very easy way would be to put 1 in A1(1st cell) and 1.2 in B1 (second cell), then in C1 (third cell) enter =A1+1 (first cell) then just copy that formula over as far as necessary.
