I have linked 15 individual worksheets into a Word document that is about
16 pages long. Some pages have two or three worksheets on them, some only one. This is a narrative report with worksheets to support the narrative.
All appears PERFECTLY on screen. Worksheets appear PERFECTLY in print
preview. When document is printed, worksheets print out of place--several
pages away from where they should be (and where they show up in print
preview) and some worksheets do not appear at all. Additionally,
worksheets PRINT with rediculous fonts -- some very wide, blocky, bold
and squashed on top of others, some very fine and tiny. All worksheets were created with 10point arial in cells and headers. I used appropriate Word linking: I copied sheet to clipboard, went to place in Word document where the worksheet is to appear, did edit/paste/special, paste link, msoffice excel worksheet object, automatic update. Using excel 2000 at work, in share file where my boss pulls up the word document to change the narrative from month to month, I've already updated the worksheets with current month data. It prints this mess even before he updates it, from my workstation and login.

I've checked the links in Word edit links....all appear to be appropriate.

today, I cancelled all the links, and started all over again. I've tried using sections and hard page codes in Word. Is there a way to get the spreadsheet permanently locked into a certain place in the document, and have it print with appropriate fonts? I even right clicked the object, went to format object, changed sizes, this didn't seem to help. I've spent hours on this project over the last 3 months. I'd sure like to surprise my boss with a report that works!!

I'm just very confused! I'd give up my fourth born for the right answer--but you'd send him back =o)
Oh, yes. I'm using Excel and Word 2000.
thanks!
