    Pivot Tables & Shared Workbook

    Greetings

Is it not possible to refresh a pivot table in a shared workbook? Whenever I try through VBA code I get an error message.

Is there any way round this?

    I am using Excel 2000

    Thanks for your time.

    Hello Chard,

This is one one of the downsides of using shared workbooks with Pivot tables. The format becomes fixed once the workbook is flagged to be shared. There is probably a reason for this, but I have no idea what it is.

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
