Copy with filters with a certain range to paste in another with a different range

I need some help and i can't find where to look. My question is this:

    - I have a some data organised in a workshhet (a) which i select with filters
    - I have another worksheet (b) that is formatted for a institutional purpose where i must put the things selected in (a), but the problem is that: in the (a) i have a cell (x1) with some data but in (b) i have a space composed with one line but with several columns and excel says that he cannot paste the information copied in (a) with filters to put in (b).
there is any way to avoid this problem because at the moment i am making copy paste one by one, and it takes to many time and i would like to copy and paste the information selected by the filter in (a) to paste in (b).

    Thank you very much

    Hi,

It sounds as though you are trying to copy Rows of data and then paste to a column other than column A.

Select the correct filtered area to copy, ie, A1:D40 (not rows 1:40) and Copy, then select your cell and Paste.

Let me know how you go
