SUM box question

Hello,

I am used to a sum box being displayed automatically by excel in the extreme lower right hand corner of the window. It is gone on my Excel installation at work -0 but it there at home and everyone elses computer. How do I bring this back - I use it all the time for quick sums. I can just highlight the cells I want and the sum is displayed. This has nothing to do with any finction or anything like that.
