Probably not even possible, but here it goes. I have a spreadsheet where I need to change some column widths. Here's the problem. The info i have in column C cell range from 1-25 require a wider column, but the cells under that only require one a good bit narrower. Is there a way to make certain cells in a column wider or narrower than rather than adjusting every cell in that column to the same width??
One option is to merge columns C and D together for rows 1-25.

No, not merging anything. I use column D as well. I simply want cells C1-C25 wider than the rest of column C. Thats all I need..
The only way to do what you want is to use Merged cells, cant you insert an additional column and move the data in column D over?
my sheet goes all the way to column AI. but i'll look into that and see if it will work..
When you have merged your cells, try putting "Wrap text" on your cells C1:C25
