I can't quite find how to do this: I need to add a column to a sheet in a macro and I need to turn off auto filter and turn it back on from with in a macro as well.
I can't quite find how to do this: I need to add a column to a sheet in a macro and I need to turn off auto filter and turn it back on from with in a macro as well.
Record inserting a column and this will help with autofilter

can I also set a function for the column in the macro as well?
Try
which acts as a toggle. You can replace Selection by a range object.
Selection.AutoFilter
