Deleting Row - 5 second hang

Curious to know if anyone has seen this issue before:

I have nothing open and I open a new workbook and add a few lines of numbers (no formulas). I then highlight rows from the left side, right click and choose delete row. After clicking the delete row command i wait 5 seconds and then see it delete from the workbook.

If i reboot i see no problems for a short while.

any and all suggestions is appreciated.

    thank you

    Hello Idocg,

Slow system performance is genearlly due to clutter and fragmentation. Run "Disk Cleanup" frist to clear the clutter, and then Defragment your drive. Something else that helps are programs to clean and defragment the registry. Do this on a regular basis will greeatly reduce system hangups and craches. I use Registry Clean Expert. It cost about $40.00. If you don't this type of software, you should invest in it.

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
