    Read-Only Workbooks

Numerous times, workbooks that I have opened, modified, run some scripts on, and saved, can only be opened 'Read-Only' by everyone else in my office, even though I closed them hours previously.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

    Thanks.

Trying enabling the share option so that more than 1 user can be in the workbook, modify and save it at the same time.

That sounds frightening. Shouldn't there be a way to unlock them without allowing simultaneous editing?
