    Comparing two worksheets

    Hi,

I need to run monthly reports of a fixed format and want to be able to compare and highlight any changes between the new and old report. I am ok with conditional formatting and delta etc. the problem I have is that the fields are not in a fixed postion and therefor I cant use tradition formulas as I dont know where the comparative data will be placed. As tasks are completed or started entries will appear and disapear from the list. Is there a way of linking two entries in different worksheets together if for example they have the same name in column A, but are in different and unpredictable rows. Or is there another way anyone can think of to solve this problem. Any suggestions very much appreciated. If you need any clarification to help suggest a solution then please let me know.

    thanks

    Jon
