3D scatter graph i.e X, Y, Z, scatter graph

Just wondering if its possible to plot a scatter graph with 3 axises, or if theres a plugin for it? I have Office 2007. Thanks in advance.

Up through 2002, Excel didn't support 3D scatter plots, and I would think if they had added that feature to later versions, it would have been publicized a little bit.

A couple of ideas:

I'm not aware of any "add-ins" that add this functionality to Excel. I know there are stand alone programs that will do 3D scatter plots. I've tried the trial version of DPlot, and it seems to work well. It has some ability through DDE/OLE to link to Excel data, but you have to get used to the way they work together.

Many of my co-workers use Grapher from Golden Software. It works well. I haven't used it for years, so I don't know how well it links to Excel data, but I expect that, at worst, you would have to copy and paste from Excel to Grapher.
