How to delete an inserted object

Hello and thanks in advance for any help on this problem ...

I wanted a calendar in a worksheet. I used Insert > Object to insert an object named "Project Suite: PsProjectCalendar." This was on my workplace computer and I have no idea what program on the system owns this object in the registry, so I realize you may not have this object available to you. In any case, the inserted object did indeed appear as calendar on my worksheet. However, now I need to delete the calendar and I cannot figure out how to delete it. There seems to be no way to select the object. The object sits in or over a given range of cells, but neither deleting cell contents nor the rows that appear to contain the object gets rid of the object. It is as if this object has a life of its own and refuses to die. Can anyone replicate this condition and figure out how to zap this thing?

Usually you right click the object that will select it and then you can delete it!
    Best regards,

    Solution

In this case the object could not be selected by right click or any other means. The solution I found was to copy everything BUT the calendar on to a new worksheet, then to delete the worksheet containing the misbehaving object. As it turned out, when I deleted the worksheet, I got a system message informing me that I did not have the proper license to use the Power Suite object. So apparently this was a sort of unique problem having to do with the network and corporate license policy. In any case, the problem is solved.
