Solving for net amount

I'm kind of confused how to get the net amount. I'm okay with gross amount thingy though. :D Need help.

Do you understand what is meant by the net amount? It is the gross amount less the applicable discount.

If you are unsure how to use the IF function (I assume that is the case, since this is your homework assignment), look up IF in Excel's help menu. It explains how it works and how to use it.
