    Left and Right Functions

How do I use the left and right functions so that I can get the last two letters of a first name and the first two letters of a last name?

For example, in these series of names.

    Harry Potter
    Ronald Weasley
    Hermione Granger
    Neville Longbottom
    Seamus Finnigan
    Dean Thomas
    Cho Chang
    Luna Lovegood

    Hope someone can help..

So for Harry Potter that will give you "ry Po". Do you want that in one cell? If so

    =MID(A1,FIND(" ",A1)-2,5)
