    Finding Links to Other Workbooks

    I have a very large workbook apparently with lnks to other workbooks that I need to delete. I have done:
    - a search for the entire sheet for every sheet for the character "[" looking for a link to another workbook,
    - the same thing in all the named ranges and
    - I have edited the links in the box when opening. Nothing is found in any search.

    Yet when I try to copy some things, It asks for the location of this apparent workbook that is linked.

    How can I find where the reference is to this workbook.

    Thanks for your help.

    There are so many places for links to hide, not just in formulae but names, charts, objects and OLE's. You can use my add-in via the link below to find links in formulae and names (Ultimate > Formulae > Linked Formula Tools). John Walkenbach's PUPv6 utility will find all the links mentioned above. You can download a fully functional evaluation version from his website (but please pay attention to the licence - it is not freeware) :
