I have ascii textfile generated by scanning process with fields separated by open & closed quote and also with comma. I need to open & run macro to delete data that I don't need on this file in excel using the tab delimited separated by comma. I will make some changes on the file then I want to save it again in ascii text format with fields still with open & closed quote and separated by comma. I tried all the options that excel have but no open & close quote shows on the ascii textfile. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
