Hi, I am having trouble creating PDF's from excel, (using acrobat 7) , every time I save a cell with £ in it they become $ signs, do I need to alter a setting somewhere

did you mean that the cell displays with a $ sign, or that Adobe is mis-converting the currency symbol to show as the American $ ?

someone at http://www.adobe.com/support/forums/ may provide a better clue if Adobe is at fault
