Changing Color of text based on a number

Forgive me, this is my first post. My wife has created a basic inventory sheet that she manually changes as she sells items. I thought it would be neat if when a particular item gets below a certain number, the spreadsheet alerts her somehow. I was thinking the text (product name) box turns, say, red, or the product name text box changes color. Is it possible to do somehting like this, or create some other kind of alert? I'm not a programmer, but I thought there might be an 'If b4 <5, then change font B1 to red' sort of deally m'bobber. Once again, my apologies for my programming ignorance!!

Forgive me but your post is not very clear. I have a solution but it's very simple. So, i don't know if it's what you want. Select the menu Conditional formatting in Format. Condition 1: Cell value is between 1 and 5. Format:Color red.
