    Problem with VLookup

I have used this function before but in this situation it is giving me fits. I have information in one WS that I need entered on another WS ok. The columns are sorted properly. The formula is correct it displays the correct answer in the wizard when I enter it. The problem is that when I hit ok, just the formula shows up in the cell where the data requested should be. Please someone help.

    Hi,

Sounds like the formula cell is formatted as text instead of general
