I have a Workbook of which on one page I entered a "drop down list." The list of items in the drop down are hyperlinks to items on other worksheets in the same workbook. I entered the list of hyperlinks in the source area of the drop down box but when I click on any of the items in the drop down box, nothing happens. How do I get the items in the drop down box to go to open up for me when I click on one of them?
If you're looking to "hyperlink" to another cell on another sheet based on the selection in of your combobox, try this:
The Case 0, Case 1 and Case 2 refer to the ListIndex value of the combobox, not the actual value you chose in the combobox (e.g. "Honda", "Chevy" or "Ford"). The ListIndex starts at 0 and goes up to one less than the number of items in your list. (If you have 20 items, the first item is ListIndex=0, the last is ListIndex=19.)

Since this is all new to me, I'm wondering if I were to want some of the list in the drop down box to refer to items on the same "worksheet", should I use the same procedure?
For a novice, I've stumbled across a lot of info in Excel, however I have never done a macro. Will this be necessary to use in a drop down box?
The only time I've used a macro was when someone on this site led me by the hand thru the process.
That's another new world out there for me to learn.
