    Smushing text together again

Not sure what it's called, but lets say I delete various cells that had word wrap. Let say these word wraps are the longest cells in my folder. I know I can select the columns and rows and click the little line between the row (example between 3 and 4) or the columns (example between D and E). This would compress D or 3 and make it fit the text fit the cell.
Example: If one of my cells had 13 lines of text (with word wrap) and the cell
next to it has only 4 lines, then I delete the 13 line cell. The cells doesn't automatically adjust to 4 lines. Not know what to do, I manually correct each row and column height. Now lets say I do this with various cells on the worksheet. How do I correct the adjustments all at once?

But this only corrects this one row or column. I want it to compress all the cells. I don't want to hunt all the cells to see if the cell is compressed to fit.

Hope you guys understand what I mean. It's really hard for me to explain this since I truly don't know what it's called.

Thanks for any help you can provide, Craig

If you click on the little blank square to the left of the "A" in Column A (and just above the 1 in Row 1) it will select the entire sheet. You can then select Format-->Row...-->Autofit & Format-->Column...-->Autofit.

This should resize all of your rows and columns appropriately.

Sometimes manual adjustments are necessary, though, especially when working on cells with wrapped text.
