Red face Excel Works very slow in one section.

I have a very strange problem...I have a spreadsheet where in I have some section of formulas....One of the section wrks very slow..for example, when I put my cursor on any other section, it wrks like normally and very fast...but when I come to that particular section and press any key...excel gets hanged and the result comes after two seconds...its not the problem of calculating cells...I cannot attach the spreadsheet coz it contains very secret information of my company which I cannot display.....anyone has see that problem ever or any thoughts/idea which i can try on my spreadsheet???

    Thanks!

Thnx for the quick answer...I have no images in my file...

    Its having the following structure

    Dates.........Clt1.....Clt2.........Clt3...........Clt4............................Clt9
    ------------------------Section 1-----------------------------------
    Dates.........Clt1.....Clt2.........Clt3...........Clt4............................Clt9
    ------------------------Section 2-----------------------------------
    Dates.........Clt1.....Clt2.........Clt3...........Clt4............................Clt9
    ------------------------Section 3-----------------------------------
    Dates.........Clt1.....Clt2.........Clt3...........Clt4............................Clt9
    ------------------------Section 4-----------------------------------

Each Section have simple Sumif formulaes with ranges given as 1 to 1000...all sections work fine, but Section 4 does not!! Whenever I come to section 4...excel gets veryyyy slow and if I use any keys like Up and Down, it moves after 1 or two seconds....I think its not about the formulaes which is hanging the excel coz otherwise the excel shud be slower in all sections and not in one..Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Vikas

A few other things to try
    1. in section 4, Ctrl+End to find the last cell, if this is way off target, delete any empty cells right back to where your data does actually fininsh. Then save the file. If that doesn't work, then
    2. Make a new workbook copy over sections 1-3 by holding and draging the sheet tab to the new workbook. Save the workbook and check all is well. For section 4 copy/paste to the new workbook, save it and see if this makes a difference.

Good luck, let me know how things go.

Maybe worth using DSUM or DCOUNT?
