    Complex Worksheet linking Question...

I am trying to figure out how to link mulitple columns of data that changes frequently by the moving around of individual cells on the master.

Hope this example is understandable: (the copy paste didn't pull in any of the grid so I tried to show columns and rows)

    C3 C4 C5
    Artist 1 Artist 2 Artist 3

    R3 MR620 SP (4) DS040 (4) MR627 SP (4)
    R4 MR335 JP (3) MR401 JP (6)
    R5
    R6
    R7
    R8 MR335 JP (3) DS020 (3) MR401 JP (6)
    R9 MR065 CV (3) MV505 A (5)

This is a sample potion of the master worksheet for one of my groups of artists.

There are several groups of artists and I would like to have a worksheet for each group, that is updated by changes on the master.

My issue is this, we are constantly shuffling cells around by dragging and dropping the cell into a new location. (Both along the same column and row as well as different columns and rows.)

When doing a simple cell = link, the original information translates but then creates a circurlar reference to the new cell. (I might be explaining this poorly.)

Also is there any way to move over the cell set up (color, bold, italics, etc.)

Essentially what I would like is a portal view of certain columns on each additional worksheet.

This may just be a pipedream, but I'd appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks in advance for any and all elp.

    Ben

my columns and rows didn't fill out very nicely.

    they all got squashed together.
