I dont know if this is the right place to ask, but I'm getting pretty desperate after spending 4 hours on trying to work this out.
I'm trying to make a hyperlink in excel to a network drive I have.
I input the hyperlink path as:
H:\Network Strategy\Network Services\MEC&ELEC\Contingency Plans\1996 Updated Swr P Stn Con\011\CONT_011.DOC
The spreadsheet is located on N:\ drive (all network drives).
The link works, the document opens, I save it, close, re-open, the hyperlink doesnt work anymore and it replaces the path with:
../../../../../Nwmgt/Network%20Str* ategy/Network%20Services/MEC&ELEC/* Contingency%20Plans/1996%20Updated* %20Swr%20P%20Stn%20Con/011/CONT_01* 1.DOC
How can I make it so it keeps the drive letter there, rather than trying to go back up directories.
