separate content in cell into different columns

    Hello,

Does anyone know how to separate data such as this, into different columns:

    85878;null;OMX;OM;2004-09-13 08:58:29.0;691.91;OMX Stock Index;693.01;688.67;691.91;15055;0.0;14.64;0.0;0.0;2004-09-10 00:00:00.0;0.0

Today this data is inserted into one cell, in one column, but in 50 000 rows (in 9 different sheets!). I would like to separe it into separe columns so I could run calculations on the data. Separating it manually would take me at least 1 year, so any help is much appreciated!

    Kind regards

    Hi,

If there is some kind of logical structure, go and try
    Data Text to Columns

    Hi,
as Carim said, highlight column A and Data, Text to Columns, and (looking at the one line supplied) select Delimited, (next) remove the tick from tab - space etc and select Other, the other character ; (semi colon)

Check the data as presented and if it looks correct then 'Finish', if not quite the separation you expected then 'Back' and select different or multiple delimiters.
