I set up my Excel workbooks to track changes and when I display these (Tools -> Track Changes -> Highlight Changes), I display them on a separate sheet (which gives the added advantage of not just seeing the last change to any particular cell). In some of my workbooks, there's no problem; in others, the date and time columns on the History Page come back as unformatted (i.e. January 10, 2007 is 39092). The history page is automatically protected (no password) so I can't reformat. However, I can copy the contents to a new spreadsheet and format them there. Anyone seen this before? Any ideas on how to stop it? I can upload examples of it doing this, if that would help.
