    Date format problem

    Hi everyone.
I've got a problem with UK/USA date versions. I made a document with lots of different worksheets all with lots of dates in the UK format, e.g. 01/11/06 (i.e. 1st Nov 06). The document has to be opened on different computers and on some the date format changes to the USA version e.g. 11/01/06. Is there a way I can stop it from doing this without going to format cells and changing the locale option in the cell properties everytime I open it on a different computer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

This may sound like a silly question, but, when you say The document has to be opened on different computers and on some the date format changes to the USA version are you using it in the same office or on different sides of the "pond".

If it's the same office, go to Control Panel and change the Regional settings to all the same

Yes, the computers are in the same office and thanks very much, altering the regional setting has solved the problem.
    Cheers!
