    Showing forumula in a cell

    How can you make the formula typed into the cell show in the cell box? Thanks for any help.

    You go to Tools > Options > and then click the formulas box.

    Here's another way if you want to toggle between cell contents and formulas

    To show formulas, then hide formulas:
    1. press: Ctrl ` (left apostrophe (top left of keyboard)) - see formulas
    displayed.
    2. press: Ctrl ` (again) - see formulas hidden and results show.
