Paste transpose after CUTTING, not COPYING?

I am working on a spreadsheet where the years are designated in rows and and the data items are in columns, i.e. just the opposite of the standard layout.

I know how to COPY and paste transpose, but I want to CUT and paste transpose, or do something which will have the same effect. Any ideas?

Technically, a CUT operation is like copying and clearing source Range. Thus, you may combine these two effects in a macro. For example, this code Cut-Transposes Range "a1:A10" to Range "B5":

    Yes, but...

Thanks Bartek. Ok, there's something I didn't mention which I guess I should have. Things on another sheet reference this table which I want to transpose. At present they "lock into" this table via full absolute referencing (e.g. $A$1). I can copy the table, but the dependents on the other sheet will still refer to the original table (which is why clearing the original will create a problem). I'd like to be able to transpose this table and have all the relationships with things on other sheets (or on other parts of the same sheet) stay intact. Is this possible?
