    letter to number Help?

    i have a spread sheet of a bunch of football teams each with different ratings such as, A+ B C-....ect is it possible to replace their grade with a numerical value? for example can i make all A+'s to equal 4?

    Hi,

    I assume you want to display as A+ but use it in a formula.

    You could use a Table for your data and do a vlookup.
