    Question Sumproduct-it is returning a 0

    Hello,
I am trying to use a sumproduct formula as a lookup. Here is the formula I am trying to use
    =SUMPRODUCT(('[Forecast Model.xls]Overview'!$A24:$A5000=A3),('[Forecast Model.xls]Overview'!$F24:$F5000))
Currenty it is returning a 0 which is wrong. Can someone please tell me where I am going wrong.
    Thank you.

    Try this,

    =SUMPRODUCT(--('[Forecast Model.xls]Overview'!$A24:$A5000=A3),('[Forecast Model.xls]Overview'!$F24:$F5000))

    Hi,

Are you dealing with text or values ...?
Are you sure there is no discontinuity in your long ranges ...?

    Hi,

It is a double unary operator .. precisely because you are using text and not values in this column...
