important and probably easy to solve

Excel 2003

I would like to create a button that opens an excel file. Besides the button there is a dropdown list that is used to define wich file the button is supposed to open.

Hi,

Turn on the macro recorder ...
Go through your usual key strokes ...
VBA will "translated" your actions in code ...

Last step will be to make the file name a variable in your code ...
