    Thick Borders

    Hi everyone,

I just printed one of my excel worksheets, and I don't know if it's just me but the borders look unusually thick. The thinnest border line looks thick, and the one that's a little thicker than that one looks super thick. I feel like my print-out looks awkward because of these thick lines... is there any way to adjust how thick the borders look?

I'd appreciate any help with this...

Go to Format > Cells >Border and adjust the line thickness there

Under the Format Borders tab, I am using the thinnest border provided, but it is looking rather thick. Is there anything else that would affect how the border lines look when printed?

    Hi,

Does the Print Preview look as bad as the final Print? - or does it appear correct?

What is your default Printer ?

Well, I suppose the lines look pretty thick on the print preview too... but they look passable. It's when I actually print it out on paper that I'm like... "ew". I use the Xerox M24 as my default... perhaps I should try some of the other printers around the office.

Btw, Bitty basically means tiny... as in "itty bitty baby". I'm the smallest office personnel around here. (and sometimes it's a reference to my Office knowledge as well!)

Try changing the border colour to Grey-50%, see if that helps?

I tried printing stuff out on different printers, but they all seem to come out the same...

Hi OldChippy! Thank you for helping! I tried your idea too, but it just gave me grey lines instead of black lines... so it made my problem a little more fuzzy and vague, but my problem still persists.

I just can't imagine that borders have always appeared so thick when printed... I'm starting to get paranoid that it is just me.
