The very first column – number of the row problem

Long time ago I’ve deleted a lot of rows in my excel file. And now, after the number 345, the next one is 846. What should I do in order to fix this? I need the next one after 345 to be 346, 347, 348 and so on, instead of 345, 846, 847, 848…
How do I update this column with numbers, or what else can I do?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

This is not possible. They must be hidden. Unhide them by selecting the entire row either side of the missing data, right click and select unhide

If Matt's 'unhide' doesn't reveal your rows, then check and adjust any AutoFilter (Data, Filter) etc.
