Try

Open a new worksheet, select cell A1
From the menu, select Data, Get External Data, New Web
Query
Enter your website. I used www.xe.com in the address box
Then click on OK

You get the entire sheet as it's impossible to extract just one field.

You should be able to hide the sheet and create a link which needs refreshing
