Open excel in new window?

Scary indeed, I had neved had that before.

Close Excel, then Open Excel from Start Programs, and re-set the option.

It appears to work only for the current session, and the next session requires a re-set and re-start Excel.

It's not too scary, you can open files from within the gray Excel window.

http://www.dailydoseofexcel.com/arch...dows-explorer/ suggests that you do the UnRegserver to re-set your excel. This may help.

You wouldn't really expect a program option that shuts off DDE to prevent access to other programs, would forget itsself and shut off DDE to itsself on the next startup.

Apparently, but I will check this further tomorrow (it's just after a good time for experimenting with glass slippers)
