Freezing bottom of screen or displaying a message

Hi. Hope this can be done.

Is there any way to freeze the bottom of the screen in Excel? I currently have the top header row frozen, and a row on the left side frozen. However, I would like to freeze the bottom three or four rows. Actually, I just want to be able to display some messages at the bottom of the screen that won't change (kind of like a key). I would like the messages to stay in the same place no matter if they scroll up or down or right or left.

For example, I would like to say "PRESS CNTL-L TO BLAH BLAH BLAH". I have about 6 or 7 macros that I want to list at the bottom. This way, the user can always see them.

    Thanks for the help.

    Good morning vbace2

You can't freeze rows at the botom of the spreadsheet, so that option's out. Is utilising the status bar at the bottom of the spreadsheet any use to you?
