    filters

Hi, I have a problem with Excel filters. On a certain spreadsheet when I filter it does not say 101 of 6000 etc at the bottom. it just says "filter mode" I have roght clicked on the bottom toolbar and clicked on sum "count nums" but still nothing.

    Hi,

If I recall correctly this happens when your spreadsheet has many formulas ...

    Let me double check ...

Well there are some explanations from Microsoft ...

XL2000: Excel AutoFilter Status Bar Message Shows "Filter Mode" Q213886)

XL: AutoFilter Status Bar Message Shows "Filter Mode" (Q189479)

    A code solution:
XL: How to Count Rows Displayed After Data Has Been Filtered (Q148621)

Hopefully, you know that with the subtotal() function, you can get all the calculations you might need on your filtered data ...
