Hi all, I was wondering if there was a way to lock certain cells in the spreadsheet when you turn on autofilter.
I'm not sure how the table I posted below will look after being formatted, but it is a simple example of the issue I need to resolve.
In the example below you can see that before you get to the actual rows with information there is a dummy line...in this case a divider to visually show you are looking at a different team.
When I turn on AutoFilter on the row with the headings and then pick WR from the list, it only lists the 3 WRs and removes the dividers because the position for that line is blank when in reality if I could lock the dividers in place so they show up no matter what, when you sort by WR you still get their team divider.
Does my question make sense? Any ideas on what I can do to lock that row in place so that it is always viewable?
Edit: Added Examples of Actual Results and Wanted Results are below. Any ideas? Is it possible?
